INTRODUCTORY GROUP CLASSES

Our introductory group classes are a wonderful way to see if a student has an ongoing interest in learning a new musical instrument. Carefully designed by us from the ground up, these intimate introductory classes provide students with the important fundamentals needed to begin their musical journey! Individual attention is always paid to each student to ensure smooth, predictable progress.

PIANO GROUP CLASSES

Ages 6-9

​

Highly recommended for young students starting out! Our comprehensive group classes prepare students for Grade 2 of our OPUS curriculum in a fun and social setting! Students will learn the fundamentals of piano including:

​

  • Proper posture and hand positioning

  • Time signature and rhythm interpretation

  • Reading notes in the bass and treble clefs

  • Playing simple songs in multiple positions using both hands

INTRODUCTION TO GUITAR

Ages 7-11

 

Students will learn the fundamentals of guitar including:

​

  • Proper posture and hand positioning

  • Open and first position notes

  • Simple strumming patterns

  • Basic open chord fingerings
